How long does it take to drop my scrap off and get paid? The average time to get through the process of weighing in, weighing out and getting paid is less than 30 minutes. The exception to this is with copper and catalytic convertors. Tennessee requires a five-day waiting period to receive your money on these two materials.
How much do you pay for scrap metal? Different types of scrap will pay at different prices, and those prices change weekly as the market changes. The easiest way to get current pricing is just to call us.
What do I need to do if I want to bring a car or truck to sell? For autos less than ten years old, we require you to have a title, a visible VIN and a valid, state-issued photo ID. For autos more than ten years old, we only require a valid, state-issued ID and a visible VIN. Although the title is not required on vehicles more than ten years old, without it, you will have to present a valid Tennessee state issued ID.
Do you buy computers to recycle? No. We recycle all kinds of metal, but items we do not take are: computers and
computer components, capacitors, propane tanks, chain link fencing, steel food cans, microwaves and railroad scrap.
